Eleri Connick
I am a PhD candidate and writer at the University of Amsterdam in the School of Heritage, Memory and Material Culture. I recently published “The Flood” which told the stories of Palestinians living in Amman in the weeks following Al Aqsa Flood. I’ve also published in Mashriq and Mahjar Journal for Middle East and North African Migration Studies.
In my research, I work closely with individuals and collectives grappling with the impacts of settler colonial and imperial violence, displacement and exile; emphasising creative methods and innovative collaborations to explore the entanglements of the Materiality of Exile to explore alternative histories and realities.
